Lifeblood, which is run by the Australian Red Cross, is making its way to the Bowral Swimming Centre from February 26, to March 2.
Blood donations are used for patients impacted by cancers and blood diseases, anaemia, road accidents and traumas, organ and non-orthopaedic surgeries, diseases, as well as fracture and joint replacements.
According to Lifeblood, only 3.5 per cent of Australians are regular blood donors, and one donation can save up to three lives.
More than 1.7 million donations a year, or three every minute, are needed nationwide.
Regular donations can be made every 12 weeks.
Bowral resident Valentina Borbone has been "religiously" donating blood for 32 years and said everyone could do their part to make a difference.
The mobile donor centre will have the following opening hours:
- February 26: - 10am - 3pm
- February 27: 12pm - 6pm
- February 28: 12pm - 6pm
- February 29: 10am - 4pm
- March 1: 10am - 4pm
- March 2: 10am - 1.30pm
People can book a time to donate through lifeblood.com.au/blood, or calling 13 14 95.
