Your guide to transport and road changes for the Bong Bong Races

There will be fashions on the field, people can bring chairs and picnics, live music and six races on November 24.

Here is a guide to transport and parking for those heading to the races.

There is a free bus service to the Wyeera course on Kangaloon Road, and the return trip is $10 per person, which must be paid for prior to leaving the venue.

Specialist parking attendants will be onsite managing a general car park, which is free to members and their guests.

There will be a courtesy bus there for those who need assistance getting to the entrance.

Large buses are not permitted to enter the course unless prior arrangements have been made.

Smaller buses can enter the course but need to make a booking prior, and must go to the general car park once all of the passengers have got off.

No parking is permitted on Kangaloon or Hordens Road.

The 80 kilometre speed limit on Kangaloon Road approaching the racecourse will be reduced to 40 kilometres.

Traffic controllers will be onsite managing the entry and exiting of vehicles.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time through the area and be aware of the increase in pedestrians.

All the marquees and boot picnic spaces are sold out but race day passes for members and their invited guests are still available.

Passes will not be available for purchase on the day.

Patrons can pick up their passes at the Bong Bong Picnic Race Club until November 23.
