Volunteer organisations are being invited to take part and walk in a feel-good parade that celebrates first responders and servicepeople in the Highlands.

The Angels in Our Town aims to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes in the region who make a big difference, when people in the community need it most.
First responders, the Rural Fire Service and State Emergency Service, NSW Police, paramedics, nurses, health workers, school teachers and service groups such as CWA and OZHarvest will participate.
A total of 250 childen will be dressed as angels and give small messages of joy to spectators at the parade.
"It's a rare and exciting occasion to see so many of our hidden-away angels gathered together," said co-founder Antoinette Sampson.
The inaugural event took place in 2022, which was a success in the community.

The parade will take place on December 2 with a parade along Bong Bong Street.
It will start at 7pm and make its way to the Corbett Gardens for a thank you concert at 8pm, which will include performances from singers such as Hugh Sheridan and Darren Percival.
It is free to attend and people are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner to Corbett Gardens and enjoy the concert.
The celebration ties in with the Festival of Lights, with concerts, light displays and activities for eveyrone to enjoy.
The month-long event brings festive joy to the Highlands.
