She was named as the recipient of AgShows NSW's Dedication Award, which celebrates people who have shown unwavering loyalty, and commitment to their show societies.
Her daughters Wendy Howard and Jo Goulder accepted the award and shield at the AgShows NSW conference on June 17, in Dubbo.
Ms Howard said they were did not know she was going to be awarded, and it was an "emotional" moment.
"It's lovely that mum's recognised," she said.
"She would've been humbled and not wanted all of the fuss."
The late recipient started at the Bowral Show Society as a competitor then became a volunteer before she joined the committee for more than 45 years.
Her roles in the committee ranged from secretary (1995-2010), assistant treasurer (2000-2010), assistant secretary and treasurer (2010-2023) and ringmaster from 1994 to 2023.
As a ringmaster, Ms Goulder followed in her late father Harry Smith, and grandfather John Smith's footsteps.
It did not just stop there - her daughter said her mother would be in the admin office prior to the show, set up and marked the grounds, prepared stables and helped move fallen trees.
"She was very hands-on, had to be done right," she said.
"She was a stickler for the rules and doing things right and tradition and was very organised before, during and after a show."
Growing up, the daughter "spent their lives" at the show assisting with getting ready every year, and their children are also involved.
"We are very proud of her and whole family involvement in the show," she said.
Ms Howard encouraged others in the community to give back and volunteer at the show.
Along with her work at the Bowral Show Society, Ms Goulder became an assistant instructor at the Berrima Pony Club while her daughters went there, and was then a senior instructor for more than 15 years.
At the time, the club was the largest in the zone, and most successful in Royal Agricultural Society Competitions.
She was also the Zone 10 Pony Club Association treasurer for several years, and an honourary patron there.
