Standing together for remembrance at the Berrima Anzac Day dawn service

Conducted by Lynn Watson, the service paid solemn respect to the men and women who have given their lives in past wars.

Mahalia Barnes sang a powerful rendition of Amazing Grace, while the Venerable Geoff Web read the prayers.

Air Commander Bob Rogers addressed the crowd.

Mr Rogers spoke about standing together and the resilience of the servicemen and women and acknowledged the traditional custodians of the land, as well as recent migrants.

"I acknowledge and respect every Australian who has volunteered to sacrifice their life, their well being, or simply their time to serve the needs of their family, their village, their city, their state and through all those, their nation," he said.

"Standing together we are resilient. This is the spirit of selfless service we acknowledge on this day."
