Although autumn is upon us, details have been revealed about the region's beloved Tulip Time festival.

This year's showcase of more than 75,000 tulips and thousands of annuals, will take place from September 19, to October 2.
There will be no morning and afternoon sessions this year, where the Corbett Gardens will be open from 9.30am to 4.30pm daily.
Tulips After Dark, where people can marvel at the gardens and a spectacular light display, will also make a comeback.
The evening spectacles will take place between September 29 and October 1.
Highlands residents can attend for free and must simply show identification, or proof of residency when they turn up.

They can enter and leave the festival as many times as they like.
Locals will be able to enter through the Merrigang Street gate, which is also used by coach passengers.
People who wish to see Tulips After Dark will have to enter through the Bendooley Street gate when they attend.
Tickets go on sale in the middle of the year.
General admission and Tulip After Dark tickets will be available for adults, concession holders and children aged between 13 and 17.

The gardens will be closed on September 17 and 18, and October 3.
