The Festival of Lights has kicked off in Bowral, and served as the perfect opportunity for a keen explorer to discover the installations.

Christo Galwey enjoyed walking through the gardens as the festival commenced on December 2.
The youngster got into the Christmas spirit and donned a red Santa hat for the occasion.
He made his way over to the installation of Santa's sleigh and loved spreading his arms to complement a new pair of angel wings.

Common fixtures in the gardens, such as the rotundas and trees, have been decorated with glittering lights.
If one looks up, they will discover displays high up among the leaves.
The lights are not the only thing to enjoy throughout the festival - attendees have the chance to take photos with Santa, enjoy some concerts and movie screenings.
You can see the displays in the Corbett Gardens until December 31.
