A spokesperson for South Western Sydney Local Health District said Bradley's leadership skills, his passion for safe high-quality care and his local knowledge made him the perfect person to lead the hospital.
"His dedication to equitable care for the people of south western Sydney was evident as he worked as our District's Aged Care Liaison through the Delta and Omicron waves of COVID-19," they said.
"We are really pleased to see Bradley continue his outstanding career with us at South Western Sydney Local Health District."
With a Bachelor of Health (Nursing) and Masters in Health Service Management, Bradley said he was excited to lead the wonderful people at Bowral and District Hospital.
"I have a real passion for clinical innovation and continually improving our models of care," he said.
"I have always lived and worked locally and build on the work of my predecessor, Ken Barnett."
Bradley's most recent role was as the South Western Sydney Local Health District Clinical Manager for Aged Care, Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine.
