President of the Moss Vale Campdraft for 15 years, Toby Rofe presented Tony Springett OAM with the cheque to help children with special needs and disadvantaged children in the Southern Highlands.
"I'm happy to help the kids," he said.
"I would like to thank some local businesses that also help us each year with our competition. They include Jim Hindmarsh and Son, Austruss and SBHubery."
The 4K started life as the Kollege of Knowledge Kommittee for Kids (KKKK) in 1989 by a group of seven locals who used to gather at the Bowral Hotel on a regular basis and to provide a significantly better environment within the Southern Highlands of NSW for kids with special needs.
To date, the 4K have raised more than $3,500,000 for kids in the Wingecarribee Shire and have assisted numerous organisations, schools, individuals and families.
