It's a long way from the Southern Highlands to the south of France but Daniel Alvaro seems to be settling in just fine.

The former Mittagong Lion, known as 'Chugga', recently left NRL side St George Illawarra Dragons to ply his trade with Toulouse Olympique in Super League.
The 28-year old officially departed the Dragons at the start of May and has already cemented himself in a Toulouse side playing their first season in Super League after being promoted from the Championship last year.
Fresh off the plane, Alvaro was named on the bench for the French club's away game against Wakefield Trinity on May 15 where he ran for an impressive 151 metres in their 20-14 win.
Toulouse are sitting last on the ladder and will be hopeful the boy from the Highlands can continue his form to steer them away from relegation.
It wasn't the only impressive debut from a Mittagong man either with a first grade Lions debutant scoring four tries on Sunday.
Alvaro's former side continued their resurgence in the Macarthur Conference last Sunday with an impressive 36-20 win over Narellan Jets at Mittagong Sportsground.
The Lions scored seven tries, including four from Lleyton Wallace on debut, to the Jets' four.
It follows a 68-10 thrashing of Campbelltown Collegians, their first win for the year after suffering three losses and a draw to open their campaign.
The Lions sit sixth on the ladder while Southern Highlands Storm and Robertson Spuddies sit in third and fourth respectively over in Group 7.
