This year it was voted to play the first to 130 instead of 150 with some close matches played in the early rounds, especially between Elizabeth Hall and Irene Gilbert (130-100) and Sue Jackson and Christie Williams (133-127).
The third round saw Marian Scriven defeat Elizabeth (131-79), Elaine Jones had a win against Sue (136-104 )and Gail Fraser defeated Reta South (135-125).
In the semi-final, after scores were level at 130-all, Sylvia defeated Elaine (137-133) and Gail had a win against Marian (135-95).
In the final, Gail got off to a good start and led for the first 11 ends before Sylvia adjusted to the green, pulling away with consistently good bowls to take the match (130-110).
Well done Sylvia on a great game.
