Saturday was the first day since the middle of February that golf carts have been allowed back on the course at Moss Vale Golf Club. This was the result of a dedicated green staff crew that worked tirelessly through the week to make this happen.
Saturday also saw the April Monthly Medal return after it was re-scheduled from the first Saturday of the month.
Scoring proved difficult with only one player breaking par. Iain Battersby had a superb round to score a nett 70 in the A-Grade Medal from David Tyler with a Nett 71.
Roger Surian and Markus Fenwick will play off in the next medal round after tying both with a nett 75. Martin Fenaughty won the C-Grade Medal with a nett 71. Sue Shallis won the Women's stroke event with a nett 73.
Saturday was also the Playoff for the coveted Gold Medal within the club.
Three A-Grade players in John Aughton, Brendon Dodds and Scott Winsor tied and will playoff in the May Medal for the Gold.
Wednesday saw a reduced field because of the wet weather. A Medley Stableford was played with Paul McLean winning from Ken Hayward and Tim Sykes with 36 stableford points on a countback.
The Women's Tuesday Stableford competition was won by Annette Hayter with 31 points over Jenny Sultana on 30 points.
