Jenny Demkin's love for crochet, knitting and needlework was recognised in the Moss Vale Show pavilion, where she won the Most Successful Exhibitor ribbons in all three categories and prize money.
The Moss Vale resident's intricate knitted designs were given further credit with the Most Outstanding Exhibit ribbon, and forty of her entries were bestowed with first, second, third and highly commended prizes.
Her creations included tea cosies, jumpers, a fine knitted lace shawl, booties and a patchwork quilt.
For Mrs Demkin, "there's always something new to learn".
"I'm... constantly learning something different, the main reason I do it is because I love it so much," she said.
"I like the design aspect, colour aspect and construction aspect."
It was not just hand-woven creations of Mrs Demkin's that were spotted in the pavilion - she also entered handicrafts, jams and jellies.
The variety of skills and creativity displayed in her entries were commended by the judging panel.
"There is often an element of humour in Jenny's work, which reflects the humour and laughter she brings with her into the pavilion," said Chief Pavilion Steward April Love.
The avid knitter said she loved going to, and entering the show when her children were growing up, and enjoyed seeing the community get behind it.
"It's a great opportunity to get lots of kids to enter," she said, which she saw first-hand as a steward in this year's pavilion.
"Just seeing the kids and adults come through, and the joy it brings them is just wonderful."
The biggest takeaway for the crafter was not winning the awards, but making items that made others smile.
"It's the joy of creating and passing on things to others," she said.
Some of her constructions are sold at the Good Yarn in Bundanoon, or are given to loved ones.
