A group of Chevalier College students, four steers and a stud heifer made their way over to the Moss Vale Show to compete in different activities, and came way with stellar results.

It was the opportunity for dedicated students to showcase their agricultural skills and passions to the local community over the weekend.
"We were complimented on how polite and professional our team was," said agriculture and technologies teacher Verity Gett.

Grace has qualified for the Sydney Royal Easter Show after she won the junior judging category.
Other students also succeeded in judging - Sarah came second, Patrick came third and James placed first in the under 15 category.

It was not only the students who came away with accolades.
Myona Hanna, the college's heifer, came first in the 20 to 24 months Euro Heifer Class, the Champion Senior Female and took out Supreme Exhibit in the Euro section of the show.
Steers from the college were also awarded in the Heavy Weight Steer Class - Chief came first, Teddy placed second and Turbo came third.
Chief accompanied Sam to third place in the Steer ECM Class, Turbo and student Kate placed fifth and Ashton placed ninth with Teddy the steer.
The Chevalier group competed against 30 students and animals.
The college purchased a heifer from Myona Charolais in Coonamble so they could breed their own steers for the show.
