Commuters are advised to Picton for trains to Campbelltown, avoid non-essential travel where possible and allow additional travel time.
Replacement buses are being arranged.
Transport NSW announced on March 6 that inspections were going to be undertaken on tracks across the state due to the severe weather last week.

Sydney Trains, NSW TrainLink Intercity and regional train services and buses will be delayed throughout the week, and potentially run to different schedules.

The announcement said that motorists were allowed to use T2 and T3 transit lanes on roads today (March 7) without being fined.
The lanes have been opened to alleviate traffic congestions.
