Joined by a sensational seven piece band, Frances Madden will perform songs from her newest album 'Beautiful World' as well as a selection of unique covers on March 5.
A year in the making, 'Beautiful World' was produced by ARIA Award winning maestro Chong Lim AM. The album resulted in five nominations for Frances in last years Australian Songwriters Awards.
With a nod to her jazz roots, 'Beautiful World' will also appeal to Frances growing adult contemporary following in Australia and overseas. The album will also be released by Universal Music in Japan in early 2022.
During the tour, the singer-songwriter will be accompanied by Carl Dewhurst (guitars), Brett Hirst (double bass), Tim Geldens (drums), Ray Cassar (Trumpet and Hammond B3), Karl Laskowski (tenor saxophone) and Borbala Bodonyi and Jo Fabro (backing vocals).
Frances performs at major jazz and contemporary music festivals as well as playing to capacity audiences at premier venues around Australia. She has performed with the great James Morrison and shared the bill with leading international artists including Dionne Warwick and Gregory Porter.
The 'Beautiful World' tour will be Frances' only shows for 2022 before she heads to the UK this year.
