Friend recorded 110 not out, a knock that included 12 sixes, to lead her side to victory against Robertson Burrawang on Wednesday evening.
But far from being a cricket tragic, Friend has only played 11 games and admitted she hated the game growing up.
"It still hasn't sunk in yet to be honest," she told the Southern Highland News.
"I made 52 the week before and thought you little beauty! I thought I'll never get better than that, it's unreal. Then this happened!
"I can't stand cricket! My brother used to torture me as a kid and always ask to check the score on the one TV and that's it, the TV was gone. I've only been watching a bit of the Ladies BBL since it started.
"Last year when they started it I only played three games and a bit of rep but I have a baseball background so a lot of the skills are interchangeable."
Friend admitted that she wasn't even aware she had reached the two milestones and was just concentrating on making every shot count.
"I didn't even know I had it," she admitted.
"I just hop in the middle and do my thing. When I got the 52 everyone was whooping and hollering and I thought they were telling me to retire. My partner told me I got 52 and I thought she was meant the team!
"My approach is always the same. I want to hit the ball well and hard. My goal is not to run!
"I couldn't have done it without my batting partner Lisa Molden, she's the best."
It's been a fantastic year for the club who have been able to enter two women's sides in their first year in the Tina Macpherson Cup
"I just like the play," she said.
"The wonderful thing about our team and the competition is the social interaction. We have a 70-year old and some 60-year olds.
"It's got a long way to grow but from what is was at the start of the year to now, everyone has improved massively."
