Swimmers had the opportunity to race in the 25m and 50m freestyle, 25m and 50m backstroke, and the 200m freestyle.
Erin Bracht hit the water with confidence and managed to slash 46 seconds off her 200m Freestyle time. She has been enjoying her lessons and practicing hard, and it has certainly made a difference.
Over the weekend, the club took a team to Unanderra to compete in the South Eastern Swimming Association Summer Championships.
Jessica Wray, Georgia, Luka and Castor Troy, Lucas, Matthew and Henry Holmes, Minna Bowen, Ari and Sia Knowles, and Antonio and Tobias Hunstone all represented Moss Vale Swimming Club with overwhelming success.
The team came away with a medal haul and numerous amounts of personal best times, finishing seventh in the boys and eighth in the girls out of 22 other swimming clubs.
Moss Vale's return to wider competition was noticed and the success congratulated by the bigger Wollongong based clubs.
The season now ramps up with the start of school swimming carnivals this week.
The club swimmers aiming for a range of goals between participation, and completing a 50m event, to aiming for District, Regional and State qualification.
