Robertson Pie Shop featured in Subaru ad
If you have seen a Subaru advertisement on television, you would have seen a familiar Highlands business presented as the final destination. That's right - the Robertson Pie Shop made an appearance in the commercial, which owner Will Bleeker said was "very good exposure" for the business. That was not the only local business that was featured in the ad - viewers also got a glimpse of Pizzas in the Mist.

Group 7: Father-son duo return for unfinished business at Robertson Spuddies
Blake and Andrew Meyer are uniting to hopefully lead the Robertson Spuddies to victory in the Group 7 Third Grade title. Andrew played for the club in the 80s and 90s. The Spuddies won the title in 2020, and were ranked third in 2021 before the competition was postponed.
Family Fun Day set to take Moss Vale Showground by storm
HiViZ markets will be returning to Moss Vale on January 30 for the Family Fun Day. The market is going to feature rides, live music, show bags, as well as street foods, fresh produce and goods from over 100 stalls. HiViZ markets manager Kerrie Humphrey said she received lots of positive feedback from locals and marketgoers.
Robertson Show committee is 'taking things as they come' as show planning is underway
Members of the Robertson Show committee are finalising the program for the upcoming Robertson Show in March. President Leesa Stratford said she was hopeful that some events could go ahead in a COVID safe way, but some might not take place this year. There might also be some new events at the 139th show.
Over $18k in grants awarded to the Hill Top Men's Shed
Three grants worth a combined total of $18,447 awarded to the Hill Top Men's Shed before Christmas, which are going towards different projects. The group received grants from the NSW Government's Community Building Partnership Grants, the IMB Bank Community Foundation and the Australian Men's Shed Association. President Peter Costigan said he "felt jubilant" when he discovered the news.
Yerrinbool Village Group 'really grateful' to get weather shelter started thanks to grant
Members of the Yerrinbool community will soon find shelter at the railway while they tend to the garden, and gather for local events thanks to a state government grant. The Yerrinbool Village Group secured funding via the Community Building Partnership Grants, which will be used to create a shelter which offers weather protection, and cover the tables and chairs locals use.
