Ms Tuckerman will replace Shelley Hancock as minister for local government.
She is one of nine new ministers in the new cabinet to be announced on Monday.

It's a meteoric rise for the MP who was elected in 2019 following Pru Goward's retirement.
However the promotion taps into Ms Tuckerman's local government experience. She was elected to Boorowa Council in 2004 and served as Mayor from 2007 to 2016.
She was appointed administrator of the amalgamated Hilltops Council in 2016 and served up until March this year.
