On Friday December 24 the facility will operate with reduced staff until 11.45 am.
The Reviva Centre will also close from Christmas Eve and reopen between December Wednesday 29 and Friday 31.
The Centre will then take a three-day break from January 1 and reopen as per normal from Tuesday January 4, 2022.
Customers visiting the RRC are reminded to arrive no later than 20 minutes prior to the close of gates to allow staff to safely secure the facility at the designated time.
Council's Director Service and Project Delivery, Karin Targa said kerbside collection services will continue as per normal collections days.
"Staff and contractors will still be collecting kerbside bins on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day," she said.
"However, to allow our staff to also enjoy the public holidays, drivers will be leaving a little bit earlier than normal.
"We're therefore asking residents who would normally have their bins collected on these days to ensure their bins are out on their kerbs from 11.00pm the evening before," Ms Targa said.
Council will also undertake weekly collections of yellow recycling waste bins from December 20 through until January 14, 2022 to help residents cope with the extra recyclable waste generated over the holiday period.
Customers are reminded that the Resource Recovery Centre also accepts paper wrapping, cardboard and polystyrene packaging free of charge.
The Resource Recovery Centre is located at 177 Berrima Road, Moss Vale.
