Member for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman said the State Government funds would deliver the funds to purchase a Motivew system - which consists of a device with motivational videos that is paired with a display and a custom-made exercise bike.
"This is fantastic news for Moss Vale's Harbison Memorial Retirement Village," Ms Tuckerman said.
"Motivew is a wonderful motivational tool for older people and people with dementia to increase their physical, mental and social wellbeing.
"The system uses specially adapted indoor exercise bike, video and sound, so users can take cycle trips through familiar surroundings or places in their childhood memories.
"I congratulate all the organisations that were successful in their application to the Community Building Partnership program and look forward to seeing how these projects make a real difference for community groups in the area."
Zac Hulm, Partnership Manager of Harbison Memorial Retirement Village welcomed the announcement.
"Harbison is so grateful after our success in the Road World for Seniors being awarded number one crew internationally out of 250 aged care organizations over 11 countries," he said.
"This money will assist Harbison residents with ongoing Motiview related activities."
The Community Building Partnership program has funded more than 16,000 community projects since it commenced in 2009.
In 2022, there is $400,000 to allocate in each electorate. Applications for the 2022 Program open in early 2022.
