Graham Hunt def. Terry Norwood 31-28
This match was completed on the 36th end with slightly improved weather conditions. This was a top match with the result always in the balance.

After 20 ends Hunt was slightly the better player, leading 16-13.
Then Norwood had the better of play and on the 32nd end, had what looked to be a match winning lead 28-22.
Then Hunt won the last four ends making some good shots to win by three.
Glen Giese def. Mick Flynn 31-24
This encounter was a tight affair, the improving Glen Giese had a solid lead early until Flynn started to storm back and the match was very much alive after 28 ends Giese had a narrow one shot lead 25-24.
Giese then was able to commit to some good draw shots and the match finished on the 32nd end with Giese winning by seven shots.
Mike Holmwood defeated Eric Willacy 31-24
After 16 ends the game was close with Holmwood leading 19-18.
Holmwood then started to draw away with a solid range of shots that gave him a seven shot win on the 26th end.
