Kasey Daxner and Sehanthi Kariyawasam arrived at Moss Vale Aquatic Centre on Friday night ready to tackle the 100m Butterfly. Kasey came away with a time of 1:38.72 and Sehanthi 1:47.6.
Both girls put in a great effort during the tough event. Stirling Minter sped down the pool in his 25m backstroke in a time of 33.52, and Anthony and Nathan Vella continue to impress everyone poolside with their courage and determination.
This Friday was the commencement of the point score season, where each swimmer strives to beat their personal best time and collect points along the way. Club members also enjoyed the weekly club BBQ and cup cakes, wisely choosing to eat them after the 100m fly rather than before.
Many thanks go to Nick Knowles for his continued support of the club again this season. If you would like any more information about Moss Vale Swimming Club, please contact mossvaleswim@gmail.com.
