The club will again enter two First Grade teams - the 'Bulls' and the 'Colts'. The Bulls team will be led again by multiple premiership winning captain Nathan Wright and welcome the addition of Nic Wilson and Dale Young who were standouts in the Colts team last year.
Featuring a core group of players such as Ben and Mitch Wright, Matt Cupitt, Nathan Ring, Sam Goodfellow and Mason King, the Bulls will certainly look to continue their great record in the competition and defend their Minor Premiership, One Day and Two Day trophies from 2020/21.
The Colts will again be led by Tom Angel who did a fantastic job with his young squad last year to narrowly miss the Semi Finals. This year sees the return of his former U16s premiership-winning team mate, Paddy Webb, who joins the Colts after Moss Vale's unfortunate withdrawal from the First Grade competition.
Paddy's brother Jack has also signed on to play with the Colts this year and with some exciting young talent in the team - spearheaded by the transfers of pace bowlers Riley Hurford and William Angel from last year's Bulls team, the Colts are sure to be knocking on the door of finals cricket again.
The Second Grade team has a new captain with the appointment of Yarran Cox as skipper for the summer. Cox, who was Third Grade Player of the Year last season, is a swashbuckling batsman and handy change bowler and takes charge of a team mixed with veterans and talented teenagers.
With the return of classy batsman Brendon McDonald confirmed, the Seconds will also look to feature in the finals later in the season.
Mark Whatman again takes the reins of the Third Grade team which is a team with a mixture of experience and youth.
This team also features a number of leading female cricketers who certainly hold their own against the men - players such as Neve Wallace, Keira Hol and Ashleigh Wilson all made their senior grade debuts last year with our Thirds and will look to continue their development this year with both bat and ball.
The Ladies team take part in the Tina MacPherson Cup and following a narrow win over Wingello in last year's Grand Final will look to defend their title this year.
Captain Emma Green has agreed to lead the girls again and with this competition being held on a Wednesday afternoon, it's sure to be keenly contested.
Junior Cricket commenced last weekend (Saturday November 6) with RBCC represented by two teams in the Stage 1 competition and one team in the Stage 2 comp.
The MacPherson Cup Ladies take the field on Wednesday November 17, while the Woolworths Blasters programs for cricketers aged five to nine are also due to start in November.
