KU was established in 1896 and was the first provider of early childhood education and care in Australia.
"We all came together as a centre to commemorate 125 years since KU was established and early childhood education in Australia began," said KU Moss Vale director Carolyn Boese.
"It was also an opportunity to mark 125 years of social impact and making a difference to the lives of children and families.

"We celebrated the day with the children wearing KU tattoos on their hands and being splashed with colourful powdered paint."
The centre also donated money from 125 recycled water bottles from their local Return and Earn centre, to the Royal Flying Doctor Service for the occasion.
"Before we delivered the bottles to the Return and Earn recycling centre, we wanted to involve the children in a project involving the bottles," Ms Boese continued.
"Over a couple of weeks, the children enjoyed filling the bottles with red, blue, yellow and green coloured water - the four colours of the KU logo.
"We also arranged the water bottles in the shape of the KU logo and gathered around the sandpit for an aerial photo.
"The children and staff delighted in sharing this special celebration together."
KU Moss Vale celebrated 25 years in the Highlands in 2014.
KU Children's Services has enriches the lives of more than 10,000 children and families each year with about 130 services and programs.
