Earlier today, September 28, the Southern Highland News reported that two cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the Wingecarribee local government area.
The Southern NSW Local Health District reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 as of September 27, 8 pm.

According to the NSW Health website, there are 40 active cases of COVID-19 in the Wingecarribee LGA, 33 of which have no known sources.
The total number of cases in the Wingecarribee LGA is 47 since the current outbreak began in June.
In the Southern Tablelands, SNSWLHD recorded five new cases of COVID-19 in Goulburn. Four are linked to known cases and one is under investigation.
Earlier today it was reported that nine new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Queanbeyan, however the Deputy Premier's office has since reported eight new cases of COVID-19 in Queanbeyan, seven which are linked to known cases.
One new case of COVID-19 has been reported in Nerriga and is linked to a known case in the Illawarra.
This brings the total cases in SNSWLHD to 132 since the start of the current outbreak in June.
The stay-at-home orders for Yass Valley LGA have been lifted as of 12:01 am, September 28.
The restrictions were enforced for two weeks starting September 14 after a COVID-19 positive case was confirmed in the area.
Across NSW, 683 cases of COVID-19 were recorded, and more than 132,000 people were tested for the virus in the 24 hours up to September 27, 8 pm.
Residents should be alert for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19 including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.
