With all of Term 3 disrupted, to a greater or lesser extent, by COVID-19, Year 12 students in particular worked together to maintain a strong sense of positivity and persistence.

The School's Character Education framework heavily informed the approach Year 12 took to their studies and activities, with a focus on resilience, gratitude and collaboration helping them to maintain their momentum during Term 3.

Amidst the intensity of online learning, senior girls led dress-up themed Zooms, Harry Potter watch party evenings (usually held in the School's Dining Room), sent handwritten notes and cards to younger girls and members of the community, participated in virtual sporting, debating and music activities and provided the entire school community with inspiring models of good humour and school spirit.
"The students have demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination this year - as a community we are so proud of them, and know that this experience will help to consolidate their individual character strengths and prepare them well to make a positive difference in the world after they finish school" said the Head of Frensham Schools, Sarah McGarry.
As a boarding school, with 70 per cent of students full or weekly boarders, Frensham will farewell the class of 2021 when they return to campus in Term 4 ahead of their HSC examinations.
