Three directors have been appointed to Wingecarribee Shire Council by general manager Lisa Miscamble.

The appointments are part of the newly revised Wingecarribee Shire Council structure adopted in July and will commence their roles in October.
Mr Geoff King has been appointed Director Communities and Place, Ms Carmel Foster Director Corporate Strategy and Resourcing and Ms Karin Targa Director Service Delivery and Projects.
Mr King is a planning, design and strategy professional with extensive private, state and local government experience and holds qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Planning and Public Sector Management.
Previous roles have included open space planning and design, business improvement, corporate services, place management, strategy and environmental planning.
Most recently, Mr King led the City Strategy Unit at the City of Parramatta, a multi-disciplinary team covering a diverse portfolio including the smart city program, economic, social, environmental, transport and corporate planning. Mr King holds a Master of Environmental Planning, Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (Hons) and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management.
Ms Carmel Foster has held senior management and leadership roles in local government and has also worked in state government and private sectors.
Most recently, Ms Foster was the Corporate Services Group Manager at Port Stephens Council responsible for finance and procurement, ICT systems development and support, business improvement, human resources, risk management, statutory and commercial property functions and holiday parks.
Ms Foster has Post Graduate and Master's Degrees in urban planning and property, is a qualified property valuer and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Ms Karin Targa has 20 years' experience in local government and prior overseas experience in private practice. Ms Targa has extensive experience in local government holding roles at Bayside and the former Rockdale Council, Blue Mountains, City of Thuringowa and City of Moreland Councils in Victoria.
In her most recent roles at Bayside, as City Projects Director and Director of City Operations, Ms Targa was responsible for the delivery of a capital program of $60 million per annum and stewardship of the council's $910 million asset portfolio.
Ms Targa was also responsible for the delivery of the council's projects, city assets, traffic and road safety, spatial and asset information, procurement and fleet, domestic waste collection and commercial businesses.
Ms Targa holds a Bachelor of Science Landscape Architecture and Environmental Management and qualifications in Project Management.
Ms Miscamble announced the Executive appointments in consultation with the council's interim administrator Mr Viv May at the Extraordinary Meeting of Council on Monday August 30.
Recruitment was undertaken by recruitment specialist Judith Carpenter and Associates. The interview panel consisted of Judith Carpenter, John Rayner, former general manager of Sutherland Shire Council and Wingecarribee Shire General Manager, Lisa Miscamble.
Ms Miscamble thanked both Ms Marissa Racomelara and Mr Malcolm Ryan for their dedication and commitment to Wingecarribee Shire Council whilst acting in their respective Deputy General Manager roles.
Ms Racomelara and Mr Ryan will continue in their acting roles until the commencement of the new Directors in October.
