The group safely met at group organiser Shonagh Moore's home, where members brought in 57 knitted items to donate to different community groups.
"There were blankets, booties, scarves which were all lovely things, it was amazing," said Mrs Moore.
The items were then displayed at the Mittagong Uniting Church on August 8, where members safely gathered for a Sunday service.
Blanket squares were also provided that would be joined together to provide warmth to someone in need.
"It has been amazing to see what could be done with wool, knitting needles and the right attitude," Mrs Moore continued.
These items would be distributed to regular recipients such as Bowral Hospital's maternity ward, the Southern Highlands Cancer Centre and Mission to Seafarers in Newcastle.
Last year, Knitting for Others donated and knitted 705 items during lockdown, which had a positive impact on the community and members of the group.
"It has given members a great deal of pleasure, we have needed something that has made us feel good," Mrs Moore continued.
"Everything will be sent to a good home."
Mrs Moore also mentioned that all the members have had one or two vaccinations against Covid.
"We have kept our distance, but it has provided us with extra confidence," she said.
"It has meant we can meet at a distance in the future.
"Members have the mental memory of diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough, and when we lined up for our polio vaccinations.
"So we were happy to carry papers that said we received our Covid vaccinations."
The group usually comes together on the first Tuesday of the month at the Uniting Church in Mittagong, and collects non-perishable items on the fifth Sunday of the month for Community Links.
