Nominate them for a 2021 Australian Disability Service Conference Award.
A call is being made across Australia for award nominations that celebrate the best of the best in the disability service sector.
The 2021 Australian Disability Service Conference and Awards (ADSCA) celebrate and recognise excellence within the sector.
Organisations and those working in the sector are being encouraged to submit a nomination for one of the 12 awards.
Winners will be announced at the ADSCA awards evening in Sydney on November 25.
Organiser and co-founder of One Community Shelley Youman said it was time the industry was acknowledged in Australia for its incredible achievements.
"There's so much to shine the limelight on - from committed people working hands on with those living with disability, first-class allied health services, innovative assistive technology products and engaging and educative community programs," she said.
Award categories are:
- Most outstanding support coordinator
- Most outstanding support worker
- Most innovative community program
- Best assistive technology product
- Best remote service/program
- Best early intervention program
- Best accommodation provider
- Best new business
- Most outstanding director/CEO of an organisation
- Most outstanding allied health organisation
- Most outstanding plan management company
- Innovation in employment programs
Nominations can be made by going to adsca.com.au. Nominations close on September 15, with finalists and winners coming together to celebrate at the ADSCA awards in November.
