'Camp David' is located at 45 Cavan Road, Kangaroo Valley, and sold last week to a Sydney buyer who intends to utilise it as a weekender.
The exact sale price remains undisclosed, and co-selling agent, Kiralee Whitehead from Belle Property Berry was unable to divulge the amount.
However, it's believed to be more than $4 million.
Ms Whitehead would reveal that the sale price was the highest recorded for a property of two-and-a-half acres or less in the Kangaroo Valley/Barrengarry area.
The previous record was 28 Carters Road, Barrengarry, which sold for $3.3 million in 2020.
The 'Camp David' estate is located on two-and-a-half acres of manicured gardens with views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
It was listed for sale last September, with a price guide of $5 million.
Co-selling agent, Nick Dale from Belle Property Berry recently said the price guide had been reduced to $4.2 million to $4.3 million.
The property previously sold in 2011 for $1,575,000.
While the sellers hadn't utilised it as a short-term holiday let, in the past the property has been a popular Airbnb-style listing, turning over an estimated $220,000 a year.
The main home features six bedrooms, four bathrooms and multiple living areas.
There are three dwellings on the property in total.
There is also a full-size tennis court and a pool and spa, as well as plenty of outdoor entertaining areas.
