Members of the association and Flowers Freight came together and positioned the signs at the northern and southern entries of Hill Top last Sunday.
HTCA executive members said they were overwhelmed by the positive feedback the signs have received from the community.
Members of the community have also shared their excitement for the signs over social media.
The group designed and commissioned the signs which saluted the village's railway history and featured the 3801 engine.

Flower Freight donated their time and resources and lowered the signs at both entries with their cranes.
The signs were even made in the Highlands - Braemar-based business Phoenix Engineering created and donated the steel signs free of charge.
The signs were approved by the Wingecarribee Shire Council.
The HTCA has been dedicated to improving services for residents such as upgrades to bus shelters, road crossing refuges, footpaths and seating in parks.
The group also collaborated with the Rail Transport Museum and cleared over 10 tonnes of broken glass from the railway line.
The HTCA have also been focused on village entry beautification and developing the parks throughout the village.
Seventy members meet on a monthly basis to see what they can do to enhance the village.
