Kel Limbrick, Paul McInerney and Richard Denman, Joe O'Donnell played out a 19-19 draw.
Denman and O'Donnell came out with all the shots early to go to a 8-2 lead.
Limbrick and McInerney then started to string some good shots together and for the first time in the match, took the lead on the 15th end, 15-14.
From then on both sides battled it out with a range of shots. With the scores locked at 19-19, the players settled for a draw.
The other very interesting match saw the return of Mick Flynn to the green after an absence of 12 months.
Neville Tanner, Mick Flynn defeated Joel Hunt, Peter Morales by a score of 25-17.
Hunt and Morales held a 14-10 lead after 15 ends. Tanner and Flynn then scored seven shots in three ends to take a 17-14 lead.
Hunt and Morales then won the next three ends to have the scores 17-17 after the 21st end.
In contrast to the above fixture, teams played a extra end to find a winner and what a result it was.
Tanner and Flynn went on to rub salt in the wounds, scoring the maximum eight shots to take out the match 25-17.
