The cyclist handed over the $10,000 donation to the Southern Highlands Can Assist branch president Jenny Harper (OAM). The cheque was presented at dinner held at the Gibraltar Hotel.
Major sponsors of the Tour de Cure initiative, Woolworths and Inghams, provided financial backing for the three-day bike tour from Sydney to Huskisson and then through to Bowral before the return to Sydney.
