Mittagong Creek has broken its banks and flooded the region around Shepherd Street, just outside the club, in scenes reminiscent of the flooding in late March.
Also, all directions of traffic are being affected by flooding on Sheepwash Road just north of the Illawarra Highway roundabout at Burrawang.
The Transport Management Centre is in attendance and requests drivers use caution.
In the 48 hours to 9am this morning, Bowral had received 81mm, but it has been raining steadily all day and the Bureau of Meteorology predicts more is still to come, with a severe weather warning issued this morning for the south-east of the state.
