Artist A-F Fulgence explores the rejuvenation of Kangaroo Valley, and her reconnection with the landscape after last year's devastating bushfires in the upcoming exhibition.
The French artist said she is still recovering from the trauma of the Currowan fire that forced her to flee her home.
"When the fires descended on the Valley, it felt like the end of the world," she said.
"But we are still here."

Her exhibition 'Weather Studies' will feature a collection of 30 paintings, that bring a sense of drama and 'wild romanticism' to The SHAC on May 1.
She said her paintings are 'like a poetic tale', and that her exhibition will show many facets of Kangaroo Valley.
"The land that I paint from my studio is vivid, menacing, compelling and ever-shifting," she said.
She mentioned there are many natural elements of the city such as 'the fiery dusk, heavy fog' and 'the vast quietness over an ancient landscape' that offer limitless inspiration.
"I find solace in solitude within the enclosure of my studio, where I battle with paint and celebrate progress I make in capturing an instant of beauty," she said.
