The result at the Bowral Bowling Club came as a shock to those in attendance with Willacy enjoying favourite status heading into the match-up, but a strong finish from Noble saw him claim the mantle at his first attempt.
Despite the convincing scoreline it was tight early on with scores level, 4-all and 7-all, at the end of the 8th and 12th ends respectively.
By the completion of the 21st it was still neck and neck but Noble had edged in front, enjoying a 15-14 lead over the imposing Willacy.
That's as close as it would get however with Noble flexing his muscles to pull away for a 12 shot victory.
