The three metre steel statue was taken sometime over the past few nights from the welcome centre according to a Wingecarribee Shire Council Facebook post.
"The Destination Southern Highlands team miss her dearly and would love her back in their garden welcoming guests to the Centre," the post read.
"We know it's not cool to body shame but it's worth noting that Mary Poppins is made of steel and stands approximately 3 metres high.
"She's also not great at accessorising and was last seen wearing a floral petticoat, floral blouse, floral hat and matching floral carpet bag and umbrella."
If you have any information as to the whereabouts of the Marry Poppins statue, please contact the Destination Southern Highlands team at their Mittagong Office on 4871 2888.
