A new home for the Robertson Men's Shed Inc has become a reality after more than three years in the pipeline.
The facility was made possible through dedicated work since August 2017 by members of the organisation and generous grants by State, Federal and local Governments totalling $320,000.
A spokesperson for the community group Ted Smith said that due to the keen interest shown by women "the Robertson Men's Shed Inc. is in practice the Men's and Women's Shed"

Mr Smith said separate days would be set aside for each to participate on their projects.
"Construction started in May this year and remarkably is now complete with car park, landscaping, handrails with final inspection for occupation expected prior to Christmas," he said.
"Generous support has been given by several local suppliers and contractors.
"President John Kennis has been the driving force with his building experience, supported by an enthusiastic team."
Mr Smith said that to mark the official opening on February 13, 2021 it was intended to make this a grand community affair with invitations extended to state MP for Goulburn Wendy Tuckerman, federal MP for Whitlam Stephen Jones and and Wingecarribee Shire mayor Duncan Gair.
He said the modern facility, adjoining the Robertson CTC, would certainly be a community hub for the well being and health of both men and women well into the future.
Although the new Shed will be closed during January the first meeting is planned for February 2, 2021 and enquiries about membership should be directed to president John Kennis 0455 911 980 or Bill Sloane 0438 852 135.
