Members of Moss Vale Golf Club and many others from the Southern Highlands will take to the green to tee off for Cancer Council NSW's The Longest Day on Monday, December 21.

Participants are challenged to play four rounds of golf in one day at their own club with their friends and fellow members to raise funds for Cancer Council NSW. Cancer Council NSW's, Brooke Manzione said while The Longest Day is an endurance challenge that tests skill and stamina, it is easy to get involved - and a whole lot of fun.
"It challenges participants to successfully complete all four rounds of golf during daylight hours - a challenge that many keen golfers are eager to conquer," she said.
"Participants will be making a difference by raising funds to support Cancer Council's life-saving cancer research, prevention programs, and information and local supportservices, such transport to treatment and 13 11 20."
Moss Vale Golf Club team captain, Zebulan Dubokovich is participating for the second year in a row said that he was happy to be playing the 72 holes again.
"After playing 72 holes last year and having so much fun, I wanted to do the challenge again this year," he said.
"I've had family pass away from Cancer and the assistance they received was a great benefit to the family and if I can help in any way to assist in fundraising so others can experience the benefit through such troubling times then why not."
This year the team will be joined Ken Hayward and Peter Collins.
In NSW alone, it is estimated that approximately 5,116 people will be diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer, with around 11 deaths per week in 2020.
