The top honour for Business of the Year was taken out by Hannaford's Eyewear in Bowral. Hannaford's also took out the award for Most Outstanding Health Improvement Service.
Renee Wallace from the Birch restaurant also had much to celebrate after she won the honour for Business Person of the Year. Her business was also recognised for Most Outstanding Restaurant.
They were among 120 people who attended the awards at the Mittagong RSL Club on November 23.

The opportunity to celebrate the region's business in a year of challenges including bushfire in the global covid pandemic restrictions was not lost on those in attendance.
Winners shared stories of the struggle to remain viable through shutdowns and restrictions. The winner of the Most Outstanding New Business pointed out that she had established Abbeyvale Cookies after losing her job in events management at the height of restrictions. Others referred to uncertainty and concern associated with being shutdown completely for several months.
One thing was certain that all were excited to celebrate a return to business and the honour of the business being recognised for a job well done.
The 2020 business awards attracted customer nominations for about 200 businesses across the region. The winners are:
