The Burns Cup will be played this weekend and captain Mitchell Wright said they would be fielding a "strong side".
While some first grade players were unavailable for the competition, the Highlands will prove a tough side to beat with plenty of in form players.
Players like Tim Goldfinch who will be coming of a century in last weekend's match, will be full of confidence and ready to go.
Wright said Matthew Pike had bowled well over the past couple of weeks in the Highlands District Cricket Association (HDCA) competition and Elliot Brooks batted well last weekend.
"I'm confident we can get through [to the final]. Everyone's keen to give it a shake and will be pushing for further selection for rep teams if that's available," he said.
"The boys are pretty keen to show what they can do."
The side will play on the South Coast on Saturday and results will determine where they play on Sunday.
