Wingecarribee Shire Council is seeking community response to a survey commissioned as part of a research project into the arts and culture sector in the Southern Highlands.

The Wingecarribee Arts and Culture Stakeholder Group in association with The SHAC (Southern Highlands Artisans Collective) has commissioned research into the value of arts, culture and heritage across the Wingecarribee community.
The survey has been developed to gather data and insights from practitioners, producers and presenters; makers and those who participate and engage in the cultural life of Wingecarribee and beyond.
Given the impact the bushfires and COVID-19 have had across the community, including the arts and culture sector, the survey will particularly look for responses referencing experiences from 2019.
Council's coordinator economic development, Jan Campbell said that the survey would help guide the future direction of the sector across the Highlands.
"Responses will be extremely valuable to help create a knowledge base from our community and will contribute to developing a more vibrant local arts and culture sector".
Survey results will be analysed by the researcher and will also be available to the Wingecarribee Arts and Culture Stakeholder Group for future planning and advocacy.

The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
