Twenty people took part in the event at the Bong Bong Street pedestrian crossing next to Corbett Plaza in Bowral.
Protestors intermittently blocked the road for a maximum of three minutes each time.
They enacted a funeral for the planet, dressed in funeral attire with a black coffin and black banners that read "business as usual equals death".
Other protestors wore quirky, cone-shaped outfits and big hats.
The protests coincided with others held across the country, as a part of 'Civil Disobedience Saturday'.
