The grand finals for all three major competitions went down to the wire and watched by a live stream audience of more than 180,000 fans.
Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks took out the Sydney Shield after a 32-30 win over defending premiers Ryde-Eastwood Hawks.
The Central Coast Roosters beat North Sydney Bears 16-10 to claim the Harvey Norman NSW Women's Shield.
The Maitland Pickers held off Glebe-Burwood Wolves 17-16 to win the Presidents Cup.
All three matches were live streamed by the NSWRL and attracted a combined audience of more than 180,000 tuning in throughout the day.
NSWRL Chief Executive David Trodden said "This has been a wonderful celebration of a season that not many people thought we might have."
"We've seen the best of what Rugby League has to offer in NSW," Trodden said.
"From local district teams Cronulla-Caringbah and Ryde-Eastwood; to our best women's teams in the Central Coast and North Sydney; and to regional teams like Maitland and clubs steeped in history like Glebe-Burwood.
"We got to see all facets of the game played in the best spirit and I congratulate all the teams who took part and the winners on the day."
The opening match on grand final day saw Cronulla-Caringbah Sharks beat defending premiers Ryde-Eastwood Hawks 32-30 to be crowned Sydney Shield champions after a thriller that wasn't decided until the final siren.
The Hawks looked on track to make it back-to-back titles after surging to a 26-0 lead in 30 minutes before the Sharks staged a stunning fightback with Sharks five-eighth Kamren Cryer later named player of the match.
The Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership saw Minor Premiers Central Coast Roosters hang on for a 16-10 win against the North Sydney Bears with centre Yasmin Meakes named player of the match.
The afternoon finished with the Presidents Cup, with minor premiers Maitland Pickers scoring a thrilling 17-16 win after surviving a whirlwind finish which saw Glebe-Burwood Wolves get to within one point with less than a minute to go.
Pickers captain Alex Langbridge was named player of the match.
Player of the year awards were also presented to:
- Reginald Alofipo (Ryde-Eastwood Hawks) for Sydney Shield
- Hannah Southwell (Central Coast Roosters) for Harvey Norman NSW Women's Premiership
- Alex Langbridge (Maitland Pickers) for Presidents Cup
