Administration manager for Bundanoon Public School Sue Reid said 2020 had already been a huge year and had shown the absolute best of what the school support staff could do in difficult times.
"Through fire, flood and now the Coronavirus pandemic, the support staff have kept schools running while continuing to support students, teaching staff and their school community," she said,
"Our support staff work in school offices, in classrooms and libraries and maintain and care for our wonderful school grounds and buildings.

"At Bundanoon Public School, our five support staff boast a host of knowledge and expertise, ranging from psychological science to plumbing to bookkeeping to law to educational support to building.
"They ensure the efficient management of school financial and administration functions, love to take part in school activities and are always there to offer kindness and support to students in need."
Asked what what was the most rewarding aspect of their job, the SAS team said it was watching the "the learning journey of the students and seeing them progress and grow."
Mrs Reid also thanked the school support staff for their dedication.
"Thank you all for your expertise, dedication and unwavering commitment to our students and our school community," she said.
