A man will face court today charged over the alleged armed robbery of a licensed club last weekend.

The man entered Mittagong RSL Club around 1pm on Saturday, August 22, where police will allege he threatened staff with a firearm and demanded money.
Officers allege the man fled with cash and was seen leaving in a vehicle.

Hume Police District officers attended, and with the assistance of the State Crime Command's Robbery and Serious Crime Squad established Strike Force Keyne to investigate the robbery.
Police saw a man carrying a duffle bag at about 6.15pm on Saturday, August 29 at the intersection of Kirkham and Elizabeth Streets in Moss Vale.
After a short struggle, the 26-year-old was arrested.
During a search of his possessions, officers allegedly located a shortened rifle, ammunition, and cash.
The man was taken to Moss Vale Police Station.
He has since been charged with robbery while armed with dangerous weapon, armed with intent commit indictable offence, possess unregistered firearm - not prohibited firearm/pistol, possess ammunition without holding licence/permit/authority, and acquire prohibited firearm - subject prohibition order.
The man was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Bail Court on Sunday, August 30.
Inquiries under Strike Force Keyne are continuing.
