Saturday, August 22 saw the cycling club powering through icy conditions in their Bundanoon race.
President of the Southern Highlands Cycling Club, Zac Hulm said it was great seeing people push through the conditions and competing.
"We had a good number of riders, but it was a bit chilly at the beginning," Hulm said.
"It turned out to be a great afternoon. Riding through snow was a bit icy.
"It wasn't Snowy Mountains type snow, but it was snowing in Moss Vale on the way through. There was no snow on the roads, or we would have thought twice, just very chilling conditions. Especially with the wind.
"Every rider had to keep their wits about them. It ups your skill level.
"So, it was quite cold, but Southern Highlands riders, we push through anything. We're tough."
Vision impaired Robertson cyclist, Kev O'Meley has found a replacement pilot after his regular pilot broke his leg in a mountain bike accident.
O'Meley was out competing with his new pilot "Dicky" and getting the legs pumping through the chilly Highlands weather.
The top three of the day definitely deserved their wins.
- 1st Rob Calidine
- 2nd Andrew Jackson
- 3rd Nicholas Smith

"I just want to thank everyone for racing," Hulm said.
"It was beautiful with the sun shining through the snow clouds.
"The magnificent rainbow over Bundanoon provided a stunning finishing arch.
"Perfect Conditions."
