Police have charged a 42-year-old man after they allegedly found a prohibited drug in his vehicle.

Officers stopped a white Toyota Camry on Sheepwash Road, Avoca at about 4.40pm on Saturday, June 20.
Police said the driver was subject to a roadside drug test, which returned a result positive to methylamphetamine.
A subsequent search of the vehicle located a bag, allegedly containing approximately 799 grams of cannabis.
The driver was arrested and taken to Southern Highlands Police Station.
Police said the driver underwent a secondary drug test, which also returned a preliminary result positive to methylamphetamine.
The driver was charged with possession of a prohibited drug and released on conditional bail to appear before Moss Vale Local Court on July 7.
A final drug test result and a further charge of drug driving are pending.
